Our Story

From field frustrations to fiber-first planning

OLT Planning started as a weekend side project inside a noisy NOC in Dhaka. We were a small engineering crew who kept losing track of splitter trees, leaving customers offline while spreadsheets aged the moment they were saved.

Today we serve fibre teams across three continents, but the mission has not moved: make passive optical networks visible, dependable, and effortless to grow.

Milestones that shaped us

2018

The first outage map

We built a quick win for our ISP: live outage overlays pulled straight from the OLT. It saved a weekend blitz and planted the seed for OLT Planning.

2020

Bootstrapped launch

Two of us left day jobs, shipped our first release, and signed the earliest adopters—operators in Dhaka, Kuala Lumpur, and Nairobi.

2022

Automation unlocked

We added ONT sync, fiber inventory, and GIS layers so planners, field ops, and NOC teams could finally share the same truth.

2024

Global support desk

A dedicated care team now covers APAC, EMEA, and LATAM time zones, delivering the response times we wished we had.

Built by network engineers, trusted by operators

We are a remote-first team with hubs in Dhaka, Singapore, and Warsaw. The majority of us previously led fiber builds, so support calls feel more like peer reviews than ticket triage.

Where we are heading next

Network teams are being asked to do more with less—expanding coverage while tightening SLAs. Our roadmap stays focused on that reality: deeper telemetry, smarter design assistance, and tighter integrations that reduce swivel-chair work.
